The work week is drawing to a close, but not before sweet happenings entertain city-dwellers tonight.
For some wine-centric fun, head out to any one of the numerous bars and restaurants that are pouring special wines and hosting cool events in celebration of Philly Wine Week.
Tonight, the towns of New Hope and Lambertville wrap up New Hope — Lambertville Restaurant Week, which is a foodie promotion at more than 20 restaurants in the towns. Make your reservations and head out for some good food.

#HOGTour Pub Crawl
In anticipation of Philly Beer Week, The Hammer of Glory — or HOG — will lead bar crawls through different neighborhoods as a lead up to opening tap on May 29. The first of the bar crawls start tonight in Fairmount with stops at London Grill (the starting point), Urban Saloon, The Belgian Cafe and Kite & Key. All bars will promise craft beer specials and other surprises. The crawl will last from 6 to 10 p.m. and will be led by Grand Marshal Tom Kehoe of Yards Brewing Company.

Kindred & Natural: Wine, Food & Friends
For Philly Wine Week, renowned wine writer and natural wine advocate Alice Feiring visits Philadelphia for a daylong marathon of events in collaboration with sommeliers Mariel Wega (a.kitchen+a.bar) and Lauren Harris (Townsend), along with Chloé Grigri of The Good King Tavern and wine importer Megan Storm (Artisan’s Cellar). At 7 p.m., the crew moves to Townsend for a five-course wine dinner and “salon du vin.” The day wraps up at 11 p.m. with a late-night come-one-come-all fête at The Good King Tavern.

Vetri’s How to Host an Aperitivo
The gorgeous rooms upstairs at Vetri are generally reserved for exclusive classes and private dinners. For this Philly Wine Week exclusive, the upstairs room opens up for a small sociable class with Joe Campanale, beverage director and co-owner of New York City favorites dell’anima, L’Artusi, Anfora, and L’Apicio, co-author of Downtown Italian and an aperitivo expert.

Murder Mystery Wine Dinner at Paris Wine Bar
As part of Philly Wine Week, Paris Wine Bar is hosting a Murder Mystery Wine Dinner tonight at 6:15 p.m. The dinner and show, which is produced by Blue Suede Productions, includes a three-course dinner, wine pairings and a live show. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 at the door. Advance ticket purchases are recommended.

Philly “Sister City” Happy Hour: Florence at Jet Wine Bar
In celebration of Philly Wine Week, Jet Wine Bar is pouring wine from Florence, one of Philadelphia’s sister cities. Enjoy wine at $9 a glass and pesto bruschetta for $3 each — or a glass of wine and bruschetta for $10. The happy hour runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Following happy hour, stick around for a movie night screening of Sideways.

Tonight, Alla Spina continues “Not” Wine Week with a visit from Christopher Bates, master sommelier and owner of FLX Wienery in Dundee, NY. Enjoy bites and drinks from Bates’ upstate New York winery and eatery.

Koresh Dance Company Presents Aftershock
Beginning tonight, the dancers of Koresh Dance Company will debut the anticipated premiere of Ronen Koresh’s latest work Aftershock, a personal piece of choreography from Koresh that delves into the idea of culture shock and the impact his own emigration from Israel to the United States in the 1980s had on his identity. Tonight’s show starts at 7:30 p.m.
